Last night we experienced strong thunderstorms which left our rainfly pretty wet but our tent stayed dry. Laura has knee pain from the laborious day yesterday so she opted to shuttle to our next camp. We covered 64 miles without a headwind so the ride seemed easy. Along the way we saw a line of historic threshing machines on a ridge near the road. The states in the Midwest have roads lined with blue wildflowers, in North Dakota we are seeing the roads lined with yellow wildflowers. We went off our route to visit the town of Napoleon, where we enjoyed baked goods at Mabel's bakery. The bakery has a drive up window where Ashley will fill your order. We are camping at the town park in Hazelton. We have access to electricity and the bathroom has running water including a shower so we have nothing to complain about. The park also has a tablet explaining the origin and history of Hazelton.
