August 4, Callaway City Park, Callaway, Mn

Today was a nice 63 mile ride that took us through the northern Minnesota countryside.  We are beginning to see less trees and more wide open spaces.  We passed through White Earth, Ojibwe Indian reservation.  Take a close look at the license plate in the picture of the car.  We are camping in a park in the town of Callaway.  No water, electricity or showers here, just two port a pottys and a nearby railroad track.  A nice gentleman, Ernie, who lives nearby offered to let us use his electric outlet and hose for water.
