Aug 26, Day 73, West Glacier, MT

We were looking forward to the Going-to-the-Sun Road and it was worth the wait.  It was the most scenic day of the tour by far.  Pictures don't do justice to the spectacular landscape that we cycled through.   We woke up a little early to get a jump on the ride because of the 7 mile, 2,900 ft ascent.  The high point was Logan Pass at the Continental Divide reaching 6,646 ft.  At that point it was 30 miles of downhill into West Glacier and about another 5 miles to the KOA campground.
