Today the Noordam sailed into Vancouver around 7:00 am.  We disembarked arouind 8:30 and headed for the Blue Horizon Hotel.  After dropping off our luggage we hopped a shuttle bus for the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.  The main bridge is 140 m long and 70 m off of the ground and is quite bouncy.  There are also 6 smaller suspension bridges forming a loop around the park.  These bridges reminded us of the Star Wars scene where the Ewoks lived up in the trees.  We had great views of the forest and the river below. We saw a short presentaion involving a Great Horned Owl and a Saker Falcon. There was also a Cliffwalk where the path was suspended by cables attached to the side of a cliff.  As an engineer, it made Laura nervous thing about all of the potential sources for faliure of the cables.  One nice surprise was running into Gabe and Megan, the singer/piano players from the ship.  They were out enjoying themselves too.  I found out that they have been playing on the Noordam since January.  They are very gifted but the synergy between them is what makes their shows special.  We returned to the Blue Horizon and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.
