Today was a travel day for us. We left Denali and made our way to Anchorage. After multiple cold and rainy days, today turned out to be sunny and in the 70s. For days Denali was covered in clouds but not today. We were able to make the most of the good weather to view Denali. The mountain is surrounded by other mountains so there are only a handful of viewing spots. We were able to stop at several of them on our drive south. It is impressive to see it in person. Pictures do not do it justice. Once in Anchorage we returned our rental, checking into the Comfort Suites and walk to a restaurant. Gwennie's was recommended by several people but was closed when we got there. We settled for dinner at Chopped & Chowdered which was a nice find considering the circumstances. Tomorrow it is on to Whittier and back on the Noordam as we begin our cruise to Vancouver.
