Today was another great day in Denali. The weather was partly cloudy and the temperature made it to 61. Our day started at the area where the park rangers train their sled dogs. It was fun to see them perform and get to pet them. There are 32 dogs trained at this location. Our next adventure was to shuttle into the park and hike the Savage River Trail. It was an easy loop paralleling the Savage River. We ate a late lunch at the Canyon in Denali and headed back to our hotel. An short walk from our hotel is the Oxbow Trail. We enjoyed hiking along the Nenana River. Tomorrow will be our toughest hike of the trip.
