Today was our layover day. A chance to catch up on chores and relax as much as possible. We started out at Beeton's bike shop to get Laura's bike checked out. She had the rear wheel bearings replaced on the cassette side. It seemed to reduce the noise the bike was making. We then walked out to Luna Island to see the falls from the American side. It is amazing how close you can get to the top of the falls and see the water below. We returned to the hostel so we could transfer to a new room. Rooms I'm the hostel are unique and we had to transfer to an upgraded room, which we were very happy to do. Our friends, Dave and Vickie Wilson took us to lunch in Lewiston and gave us a short tour of Fort Niagra. We got a little walk in before dinner and started packing so we can hit the road tomorrow morning.
