July 23, Wapsie Park, Oxford Junction, Iowa

We left our camp on the Mississippi and left Illinois, crossing into our 9th state, Iowa.  The roads were smooth and the winds were light.  We covered 58 miles of rolling hills with sunny, 80 degree weather.  Laura handled the almost 2,000 ft of elevation with relative ease. Along the way we saw a helicopter spraying crops and a one person cemetery. Wapsie Park has a nice Pavillion but only one port-a-potty.  This is our second consecutive day without a shower.
