Today was a day of firsts for us. It was our first day over 80 miles, our first 1,000 miles biked and our first day in Pennsylvania, our 5th state. The weather was partly sunny which we welcomed since we were biking for almost 8 hours. Our route parallel Lake Erie but most of the time we had trees between us and the lake so the views were not that great. We did see apple trees, cherry trees and lots of vineyards along the way. We enjoyed stops in Dunkirk and at Ottaway Park. There was a greek festival at a Geek Orthodox Church that we stopped in on and view dancers. They served us pizza since we were all too tired to cook. Looks like rain on the horizon.
