Yesterday was a short 38 mile day. Today was a long 63 mile day. We started out straight into an 8 mph wind which increased to 14 mph through the day. It was a constant push even on downhills. We had another detour due to a bridge out. We had to take route 2950 North to avoid the bridge. On the reroute we were stopped by a freight train with 5 engines. It was pulling a long line of double decker Amazon containers. We had a nice break in Wenona by a pond. As an additional challenge, the last half mile was up a steep grade (15%) to get to the park. We were worn out by the time we made it to camp. Our site is behind a barn but it is spacious and near a bathroom.
