Today the weather was super for a change. Sunny and 70s all day long. It was also an easy route, a flat 40 miles along the Erie Canal. There were still some muddy areas on the canal path from yesterday’s rain but the trail was mostly dry. We thought that the canal could be congested with pedestrians since it was the Fourth of July but the path was mostly free of people. It was very relaxing to cycle without cars passing. We are camping in Brockport outside of the Brockport information center. It is right on the canal and we have all night access to the bathrooms and showers.
