Today was our first At Sea day. After breakfast we hit the gym for some stationary bicycle work and a little bit of yoga. We then attended a presentation on the history of Argentina from the 1500s forward. It was especially interesting hearing about the politics since the 1950s. It was then on to a Wildlife Watch on the bow of the ship. We mainly saw several species of Albatross, a few sea turtles and one dolphin. Our lunch was at the Pool Grill where we enjoyed Viking Burgers. It is esentially a cheeseburger with barbeque topping and a ring of bacon. It was then time to relax at the infinity pool on the aft of the ship. After a brief rest we attended an Astronomy presentation about the different climates of the planets in our solar system. Our last lecture of the day was a Sea Watch review covering the wildlife we expect to see during our tour. We are especially interested in seeing whales and penguins. At dinner we learned that tomorrow night is lobster night. Laura is really looking forward to tomorrow. Today's nice surprise was finding Alaskan Crab legs on the buffet. It turns out that crab legs are part of the daily menu. We finished our evening with a music show lead by singer Troy Lathan. Troy has a great voice and sang rock songs from the 70s. Tomorrow is another day at sea.
