Today was supposed to be a rain day so we did not plan any cycling. Instead we drove back to Southeast Harbor and hiked a trail in Seawall, and then hiked the Ship Harbor trail and Wonderland trail. We also visited Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse. Lunch was at a local favorite by the name of Thurston's Lobster Pound. We ended up back in Bar Harbor to watch the tide swallow up the sand bar that connects Bar Harbor to Bar Island. We also met Peter Inman, one of our cycling peers for the Northern Tier. Had dinner with him at a local pizza joint.
