Today we left the Notch Hostel for Orford, NH, our last stop in New Hampshire. It was only 36 miles but rather hilly. Right out of the hostel we climbed a 1,800 peak then had rolling hills from there. It was a nice sunny day with a high of 82. We arrived at The Pastures campground around noon. The property backs to the Connecticut River, which separates New Hampshire from Vermont. The property had a pool which of course Laura enjoyed. The campground's bathrooms and camping areas are top notch. We even had a Pavillion with electricity outdoor kitchen which we took full advantage of. The weather report is calling for rain for the next few days. Looks like we will be in for wet weather as we cross into Vermont tomorrow.
