We started the day in Bar Harbor, dipping our rear tires in the Atlantic Ocean. Cycled only 38 miles but the rolling hills were a challenge. Stopped in Ellesworth and ate lunch in front of the city townhall. Òur first overnight is at Wandering Moose campground in East Orland, Maine. It is a no frills rustic campground but has plenty of room for our tents. No electricity but does have running water although it is about a quarter of a mile from our tents.
