May 10 2025 Primosten, Croatia

Today was a day of transition.  It was the end of week one of our trip.  Our crew mates disembarked in Trogir.  We needed to leave the ship to allow the crew to clean and prepare the ship for the coming week.  Laura and I walked through Old Town Trogir.  The maze of alleys are starting to look familar to us.  Next week when our trip is over we will spend two more days in Trogir before flying home.  Our ship docked in Primosten for the night.  It is amazing to see the captain dock the ship.  Instead of standing on the bridge he uses a remote control that hangs from his neck.  This allows him to walk out to the side of the ship to better see the distance between the ship and the dock.
Primosten is a small town that was an island until a causeway was built to connect it to the mainland.  It is now more of a peninsula.  We walked in one direction to a rocky beach then walked in the other direction into town.   The weather was quite windy today making the sea a little choppy.  Even in dock we can feel the rocking of the water.  I guess we will be rocked to sleep tonight.
