Today we returned to Eagle Falls and Emerald Bay State Park. Yesterday we got there too late and all of the parking was taken. We got up extra early this morning and found plenty of parking at 8:00 am. In addition to Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay we got a look at the Vikingsholm Mansion. It is undergoing renovation but we saw the outside and its interesting details. We hiked over to Eagle Falls and saw both the lower and higher falls. Laura was happy to hike those trails but wanted to add one more to our day so we drove over to Bayview National Forest and hiked Cascade Falls. We grabbed a late lunch at Heaven's Little Cafe and finished the day with some refreshing Coldstone Ice Cream.
