This morning we had hopes of hiking two trails near Emerald Bay. Unfortunately all of the parking lots and along the road were packed with cars. We decided to try again tomorrow. Our back up plan was to go to Pope Beach where Laura go to go in the water. Near Pope beach we hiked Falling Leaf Trail around Falling Leaf Lake. We returned to town for lunch at Bruchetta's Italian restaurant. It was then time to do some window shopping, including walking through a couple of casinos. Our hotel is close to the lake front so we took a short walk to the lake and enjoyed relaxing to the sound of waves. For dinner we drove to the town center and dined at the Base Camp Pizza Company.

Amazing...mountains, lake and Very tall trees!! Y'all look great!! And food...but where is the ice cream?
