Today was our last active day. We went on four hikes: Cave Rock, Ophir Creek Trail, Tahoe Meadows and Mount Rose Summit Trail. The first three were about two miles long each. The Mount Rose Summit Trail was much longer so we only hiked a small portion of it. The weather was great all week including today which was the warmest, getting into the 70s. We then drove into Reno and stayed at the Peppermill Resort and Casino. It was the most luxurious of the hotels we stayed at. The resort had two large heated pools and three spas. Laura enjoyed them all. The resort had several restaurants. We settled on dining at Biscottis. The restaurant was quiet and enjoyable. A nice way to wind up a week in Tahoe.
