South Lake Tahoe, Ca Sept 20

We woke uo this morning and took one last walk through Tahoe City.  There was a carving made from the tallest pine tree in town after the tree died from a disease.  We checked out of the Mother Nature's Inn and were glad to leave.  The room had many issues: dim lighting, noisy window AC located about 3 feet from where we sleeping, thin walls and limited parking to name just a few of the issues.

We then took off for the Adventure RV show back in Tahoe Palisades in Olympic Valley.  There were many class B RVs to see.  We spent hours looks at the various models taking a short break at the Dubliner Pub for lunch.  On the way to South Tahoe City we stopped for a hike on Eagle Rock Trail.  The trail was short but steep and gave us a wonderful view of Lake Tahoe.

It was then on to the Jeffrey Hotel in South Lake Tahoe.  As we walked through the town we saw hundreds of young ladies dressed in short shorts and dresses with cowboy boots.  The was blocks long.  We found our that there was a Megan Moroney concert at the lake front.  We were happy to return to our hotel for a relaxing evening.
