Hills, hills and more hills started our day today which made for a challenging start. Luckily the weather was perfect for cyclìng. Our scenic ride passed Elk Lake, Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay. We enjoyed a brief stop at a beach in Elk Rapids. Laura couldn't resist stopping at a roadside stand to pick up some local peaches which are in season here. Along our route were signs with familiar names like Brownwood, Torch Lake, and Eastport. We are camping on the grounds of the Civic Center in Traverse City. Dinner was served in the Saddle Pavillion adjacent to where we are camping. Tomorrow is our final day of thr tour.
