We are in Holland! Holland, Michigan that is. Yesterday we left The Villages and spent the night just north of Nashville, Tennessee. Late this afternoon we arrived in Holland. Since we had plenty of daylight we drove over to Holland State Park. We climbed Mt. Pisgah, a hugh sand dune that was formed by glaciers that carved out what is now Lake Michigan and strong winds that deposited a mountain of sand forming Mt. Pisgah. We climbed hundred of steps that took us to the top and then descended down a trail on the other side. After that we decided to explore the Holland waterfront and took a nice stroll down the city streets of Holland. Tomorrow we drive to Traverse City and load our cycles on a truck which will carry them to our starting point, Alpena, Michigan.
